The perforated weft expresses the classic and modern style because it recalls the weaving of the Vienna straw, but using polyester. Samos, therefore, embodies both styles to match those outdoor furnishings that do not exclude either one. The plot also has a decorative function: thanks to the empty spaces, it highlights the environment in which Samos is located. The same spaces then create plays of light and shadow when illuminated.
