TON’s Low Merano stool is a multiple design award winning product with a solid wood base and pressed plywood seat & backrest. Its smart construction gives it a striking geometric shape and makes it both lightweight and sturdy, with no visible fasteners or metal parts.

Merano stool is available in a high version too and comes in 3 material options: wood, fully upholstered, or upholstered seat only. The wood only version is available in three types of wood (PEFC certified):
Beech wood: best known and most commonly used deciduous trees. Beech wood is light to pinkish in colour and features texture that is not very distinctive. The wood is hard, relatively strong, less elastic, homogeneous and dense.
The standard surface finish for beech is either lacquered (water based varnish, UV protective, easy to clean and maintain) or oiled (matt protective layer that does not peel or crack and allows wood to breathe; minor damages can be sanded and re-oiled with this surface treatment; oil also brings out the natural colour of the wood).

We will also remove all packaging and take it away to be re-cycled.
