ReActive™ 6-turn pocket springs: Pocket sprung cores are widely renowned for their tailored support, designed to enhance and reinvigorate sleep. Each spring is enclosed in a fabric sleeve and works independently to react to body movements and apply pressure. In addition, each spring features six active turns to sense body weight and shape allowing for greater weight distribution and targeted support. If you share a bed, a pocket sprung mattress represents a viable option; pocket springs are recognised for their motion isolation properties meaning that your partner’s movements in the night will have minimal impact on your sleep.
Luxurious fillings: An incredible four layers of responsibly sourced cotton reside within the mattress. Cotton provides sumptuous comfort and air ventilation throughout the mattress and wicks away moisture to ensure a cool and dry sleeping surface. The layer of Solotex™ further accentuates the mattress’s comfort and ensures you remain warm and comfortable throughout the night, whilst the luxurious cotton cover is soft and sumptuous. The mattress is hand tufted and features two rows of hand side-stitching to keep the mattress layers aligned for increased longevity.
Why should I buy this mattress?: The Orthos Support 6 features a firm tension designed for front and back sleepers. A firm mattress can evenly distribute body weight and sufficiently support the spine. For side sleepers, a mattress with a softer tension is recommended, with a softer mattress surface required to cushion the hip and shoulder. A great emphasis has been placed on creating an environmentally friendly sleeping solution, thus culminating in a 100% recyclable mattress. Moreover, the cotton is responsibly sourced from the CottonConnect initiative, and for peace of mind, the mattress cover is fire-resistant yet free from any fire-resistant chemicals.
