Its expert construction gives it geometric character, is both lightweight and sturdy, with no visible fasteners or metal parts. The Merano product range includes a chair, an armchair, a lounge chair, a barstool and a handy trolley for stacked Merano chairs. Flexible plywood and the sharp leg lines unify the entire furniture set. The glued construction of these minimalist, all-wood products makes them shine – they are solid, despite not needing a single screw.

Beech wood: best known and most commonly used deciduous trees. Beech wood is light to pinkish in colour and features texture that is not very distinctive. The wood is hard, relatively strong, less elastic, homogeneous and dense.
The standard surface finish for beech is either lacquered (water based varnish, UV protective, easy to clean and maintain) or oiled (matt protective layer that does not peel or crack and allows wood to breathe; minor damages can be sanded and re-oiled with this surface treatment; oil also brings out the natural colour of the wood). American Walnut is only supplied in oiled finish.
