This lounge chair, based on a century-old design, was remodelled into its current form by Swedish design trio Claesson Koivisto Rune. They have created an elegant piece that references our traditional typology: a bentwood part that is usually combined with a cane weave for an extremely comfortable sitting experience.

As well as the natural lacquered or oiled beech finish, 822 lounge chair can be stained, leaving the woodgrain visible under the chosen shade, or fully covered with a pigment.
Stained Beech Finish:Â Staining is applied by either immersion or spraying and then finished with a layer of transparent lacquer. This finish allows for the individual wood characteristics to be visible. Staining does not affect the wood structure.
822 lounge chair also comes with upholstered seat and is available in a range of styles including armchair, bar stool, and low stool.
